M. Garson és responsable, d'ençà del 1989, de la publicació de la memòria anual de l'OCDE “Tendances des migrations internationales”, com també d'altres publicacions sobre aquest tema. M. Garson és també responsable de les qüestions rellevants de l'ocupació i de les polítiques socials en les economies no membres.
